ok, i got some news............... i've made my first bowls final of the season.

i won a marathon semi-final that went all the way to 21-20 in my favour. it was entirely my fault that it was that close, i slacked off a bit in the middle, but in the end i had to come from behind on the last possible end to record the win by playing a great takeout shot.
It's my third semi in that comp in the last four years but my first win. YAY ME.

i'm really not a fashionista (honest) - but a couple of people commented on how suave i looked today (and i wasn't even trying).
